Biography:
Anthony Magee
Tony
Magee is a native son of South Los Angeles. He is a graduate
of Westchester High School and holds a Bachelor of Science
(B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Cal State Northridge.
During his graduate trek, Tony became the first African-American
to graduate with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials
Science & Engineering from Lehigh University. He earned
an M.B.A. from the Graziadio School of Business Management
at Pepperdine University. Tony completed Executive M.B.A.
studies in Global Enterprise Management, Policies, Organizations
and Economics from Kellogg College at Oxford University in
England.
Tony
is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and
Tau Beta Pi the National Engineering Honor Society. He is
past chairman of the American Society for Materials, International
(San Fernando Valley Chapter). Tony was a recipient of The
Boeing Companys 1999 Customer Satisfaction and 1998
Good Citizen Merit Awards (which are two of four annual pillar
awards given at the Space and Communications Division of The
Boeing Company). He is a member of the 2001 International
Whos Who of Professionals List.
Tony
is President of PlatinumStarTM Presentations a professional
and personal development firm, and is a Professional Member
of the National Speakers Association. Presently, he is a Professor
of Engineering and a fifth-year Material Applications Engineer
for the United States Space Shuttle Main Engine Program. Tonys
