Bowker
Biography:
A. Beryl Gainer, Ph.D.
EDUCATION: Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from U. of Oklahoma
at Norman, OK. M.S. and B.S. degrees in science from Texas A&M
University at College Station, Texas.
EXPERIENCE: My industrial experience includes direction of R&D
at two petrochemical companies. Products were developed to
improve asphalt paving, corrsion and scale inhibitors,
emulsion breakers, and other products for refinery and oil
field operations.
I founded an independent laboratory which provided air, soil
and water pollution testing for industries and governments.
The lab was sold to a petroleum and petrochemical company. I
have also taught at the university level.
WRITING: My interest in Bible and science began when
professors taught naturalism and abiogenesis (spontaneous
generation) in science classes. But chapter 10 of
"Supernatural Truth in the Bible" describes futile efforts by
scientists to create life. Genesis 2:7 says the Lord God
(Yahweh) created Adam from the dust of the earth, and then
breathed life into the man. Science confirms all chemical
elements found in the human body are also found in the dust of
the earth. But man can not create the breath of life.
My book concludes that correct science agrees with correct
Bible. Genesis 1:20-26 and the fossil record agree that fish
were created before birds, etc. Science says fish were created
millions of years before birds. Chapter 2 of my book addresses
the creation time controversy. Chapter 10 addresses naturalism
and abiogenesis with questions about the eye, and why billions
have been spent to create life without success.
Many types of plainly stated prophecies are in the Bible. And
my book describes numerous hidden prophecies that do not
disagree with other prophecies. The hidden prophecies are
woven into the Bible text in various ways. Prophecies that
come to pass, as prophesied, are supernatural.
