Bowker Biography:
Andrew A. Jacono, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Andrew Jacono is a Dual Board Certified, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon; Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary; and Director of The New York Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery. Dr. Jacono is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is one of a small group of surgeons that has achieved Dual Board Certifiction in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Jacono’s articles have been featured in medical journals including Facial Plastic Surgery and Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is one of the distinguished faculty at the 9th International Symposium on Facial Plastic Surgery which takes place in May of 2006.

In addition to his published works, Dr. Jacono has appeared on Inside Edition, CNN, CNBC and WB 11 News and he has conducted radio interviews on 1010 Wins and WCBS. His philanthropic work has been featured on the cover of Newsday and he has been publicly recognized on air by U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy for his efforts. Dr. Jacono was voted One of America’s Top Physicians by The Consumer Research Council of America in 2005. He was featured in a spread in The New York Times as one of Ten Leaders in Plastic Surgery in Long Island.
