Biography:
Arnie Suntag
Arnie
Suntag is a former executive for a global software company
who left the corporate world after 28 years to preach the
gospel. In 2004, he founded Rational Christian Ministries,
a ministry dedicated to offering seminars on eschatology,
promoting community bible studies, and providing assistance
to the homeless and indigent. His testimony, which includes
narrowly escaping the September 11 tragedy and a bout with
SARS while in China, has mesmerized many at churches nationwide.
Diagnosed with serious medical problems including a brain
tumor, adrenal tumor, and a degenerative spinal disease,
his perseverance in ministry has been an inspiration. Arnie
regularly appears on television shows such as Praise the
Lord (Trinity Broadcasting Network) to share his insights
and message of hope and love. Those faced with adversity
are encouraged that through faith in God, even the most
difficult trials can be overcome. He also writes Christian
music and plans to release a CD later this year.
Arnie was born in New York and raised Jewish. He attended
the State University of New York at Oswego, where he majored
in Psychology. He has been recognized for spearheading the
earliest anti-smoking legislation in Arizona and for developing
a prototype for bill paying systems in use by major banks
worldwide. He is an advocate for victims of domestic violence
and child abuse, has served on numerous community organizations,
and has been a foster parent. Arnie and his wife, Susan,
live in Hana, Hawaii, where they write their theological
works and music.
