Bowker Biography:
Bob Ed Radley

Bob Ed RadleyBob Ed Radley is a reclusive geezer with chronic agoraphobia and a dodgy heart. For the past 30 years, he has been obsessed with discovering and/or inventing the technology that will give artists direct control over the means of production and distribution for their work. As part of that quest, he was one of the thousands of internet pioneers who experimented with homemade computers, modems and 300-baud bulletin board systems until Tim Berners-Lee pulled off the Big One by inventing the World Wide Web. And now, finally, the software and services are maturing on the internet so that Bob Ed’s dream is achievable.

Which means he can now begin to publish a lifetime’s worth of essays, short stories and novellas that he has been saving up for this day of Creative Jubilee.

In lieu of a biography or an interview, he has agreed to reveal the following details about his personal life:

Heroes: The Tank Man, Cindy Sheehan, Lewis Black

Villains: All fanatics

Favorite Food: Pot roast and mashed potatoes

Least Favorite Food: Cilantro, baked fish, olives (except on pizza)

Favorite Music: Early jazz, especially Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli

Least Favorite Music: Gangsta Rap

People He Would French-Kiss if His Wife Would Let Him: Olivia deHaviland, Diane Lane, Frances O’Conner, Tanya Roberts, Brad Pitt (just once, to see what all the fuss is about)

People He Would Like to Outlive (fat chance): Fanatics of all stripes, most of my relatives
