Bonnie Nelson

Bonnie Nelson is the founder and principal of Popoki. Press, LLC. Bonnie visited Maui in 1986 on vacation, fell in love with the island and moved there permanently in 1987. She was the Executive Secretary to the owner of Lahaina Galleries and through her eighteen year affiliation, ascended the ranks and is currently the Vice President of Finance overseeing seven retail galleries on both the Mainland and in Hawaii.

A writer in her own right, Bonnie assembled prose and poetry composed over the years into a book highlighting her life experiences with love, creatures and humorous situations that all of us share. Through the book "Speaking of Dreams," Bonnie hopes to evoke the similarity of events and to encourage others to follow their instincts and live their dreams.
