Charlet Faye
Author
Charlet Faye is on the move once again with her second book
coming to the marketplace in spring 2004. The Chilling
Adventures of Marshall McCaw, Fayes second book
is a first in a series of stories about a tri-colored macaw
and his Patrol sharing adventures in and around the Amazon
region of the rainforest of South America. Faye requires a
hand in illustrative design, but leaves the real art to Audrey
Haddock.
A
new talent on the scene and Fayes Illustrator
of Choice for the new series. As part of an exciting
interpretation of the story, Fayes text is brought
to life with light, expression and stunning contrasts in motion.
Coloring Your Imagination With Words, is the
company slogan and it continues to ring true.
Charlet
Faye has traveled across the country signing books, appearing
on local TV, and not once, but twice, has visited the White
House! In 1999, The Feather-Dusted Easter was
interpreted as a lovely ballet on the South lawn of the White
House by Pamela Moore of the National Ballet School and Company.
And in 2001, upon returning from her first Key Note speaking
engagement for a group of five-hundred, at a Young Authors
Conference in the Midwest, Faye was again honored with an
invitation back to the White House to participate in the annual
Egg Roll Festival.
A
breakfast reception and photos in the Blue Room with several
very well known authors, left a lasting impression on Charlet
Faye. But truly the biggest thrill was the ability to deliver
winning essays for the young authors as Fayes
gift to First Lady Laura Bush.
Faye
presented it as A Gift of Achievement. It gave
Faye a sense of relevance. Charlet Fayes first book
