Biography:
Fay Hope Cusick
Fay
Hope Cusick is a graduate of St. John's University, and has
post graduate degrees from adelphia University and Hofstra
University. She was an English professor for Adelphia University,
Briarcliff College, and the University of North Carolina at
Wilmington. She presently teaches English college courses
focusing on American and British Literature and Poetry.
She
enjoys writing poetry over the past few years and has published
poems in anthologies and magazines, and is an international
poet with work published in England. She has performed public
readings of her poetry in New York and North Carolina.
Fay
Hope's style is an "easy read" focusing on everyday
things for everyday people. The levels of understanding are
from delightful to readers saying, "That's me. She's
writing about what has happened to me.".
Her
poetry covers a diverse span of experiences from casual to
social issues to her odes on nature. All her poems reach out
to enfold the reader with an enjoyable and comfortable experience
of serenity and delight. The poems leave the reader with a
satisfied and fulfilling feeling.
