Bowker
Biography:
Guy Blackmar
Guy
Blackmar moved from the small oil field town of Luling, Texas
50 miles to Austin and The University of Texas where he graduated
with a chemical engineering degree in 1957. The chemical industry
provided thirty-two years of challenges in a variety of fields
ranging from engineering to management to distribution of
products. Retiring in 1989 gave opportunities in self-employment
and invention development. Bantering words with seven children
through e-mails led to short stories and eventually his first
book dealing with the paranormal ESP affecting the normal.
Its a what if concept and the difficulties
of handling super-normal phenomena. The idea is carried through
a trilogy of stories, two of which are available today.
Further
writings will be the finish of the trilogy and development
of a murder mystery. Spare time is devoted to building cars,
particularly a 1938 Jaguar concept car that exists as a one
off in Europe and pictures here. Three years have almost
brought the home-made to a drivable state.
