Biography:
Jennifer Pratt French
Having
lived a mile above sea-level (Denver, Colorado) for 32
years, being a single mother, raising two fine children
and working full-time professionally, it was time for Jennifer
French to pack up and head to the Oregon Coast. Sure, it
was difficult leaving her parents, two sisters, two children
and two grandchildren behind in Denver, but she knew it
was time for a new life adventure. And what a fabulous
journey its been! So many of her passions and dreams
have come alive in Oregon.
In addition
to her first novel, Hoot Owl Shares the Dawn, shes also written Fidgets and Nightmare Turned Sweet
Dreams. Shes in the process of writing an amusing
and spirited novel, starring up and coming retired baby boomers
titled Under the Same Roof.
Jennifer loves painting with watercolors and acrylics,
performing in theater productions and motivating others
through her social and political activism. She also enjoys
bird watching, gardening, fishing, gourmet cooking, and
collecting old and rare books.
The beautiful
and slow-paced coastal town of Florence, Oregon is just
where Jennifer needs to be to let her creative juices
flow. Shes always loved to write and believes that
living in a town with only four stoplights is a place where
she cant help but slow down and write her heart out.
