Biography:
Marjorie A. Greene
Marjorie
Greene was born in Union, St. Andrews, Grenada, West Indies.
At the age of thirteen her family immigrated to Bedford, England,
United Kingdom where she was educated. In 1973 Marjorie married
Everson Greene. They met while he was in the U.S. Air Force
stationed in England. They have been married for thirty years
and have three children, two sons, Andrew and Georgie and
a daughter, Cassie.
While living in Germany Marjorie realized that she had a gift
for writing. Even though she never considered herself a writer,
she knew that nothing was impossible with the understanding
that God’s kingdom is within us all and with that knowledge
she could write or accomplish anything if it was in God‘s
will. So she began writing, but still did not publish anything
that she wrote. After
moving to the United States Marjorie began the Remain In Me
and Women Encouraging Women ministries. She then began to
write and publish the newsletter His Truth which is part of
the ministry. She also writes for the Women’s Ministries,
Women Of Power Magazine.
This year Marjorie decided to publish her first children’s
book, Cassie’s Big Day. Cassie’s Big Day was inspired
by her daughter Cassie’s kindergarten experience. She
wrote this book as an inspiration for every mother and her
child on their first day of school. It gives an understanding
of what a mother goes through and is also a glimpse of what
the transition is like for the child. She utilizes some careful
wordplay in order to convince her daughter that her first
day of school can be exciting and fun. Cassie’s Big
Day is a book which both parents and children alike will enjoy
reading.
