Bowker
Biography:
Gail and Marshall Kent
Marshall
Kents background in engineering and science didnt
prepare him for the surprise that his deceased wife, Gail,
would help him write a book about grievingfrom the
other side. In fact, it instead prepared him to doubt what
was happening. However the writing proceeded and over time
it became obvious to him that it was Gail communicating through
his hand. Indeed, half of the book, In Death We Do Not Part,
is in her words, describing the experience of dying, the afterlife
world, and how it relates to our living world.
Marshalls
mind was opened to such possibilities some 45 years ago by
his two year old son who astonished them one day when he said
to himself, I used to be an old man and now I am a
baby. They had heard of reincarnation but neither had
given it any thought. This prompted new exploration in this
field and they discovered large amounts of supporting information,
anecdotes, and phenomena that was fascinating but scientifically
unproven. Nevertheless, they came to believe in an afterlife.
When
Gail passed on Marshall went about the grieving process differently
but in a way that was in keeping with discussions they had
long before there was any hint of Gail dying. Over the months
following her death, this alternative approach worked so well
for him that he was encouraged by others to write a book about
it. This is turn began a process of communication with Gail
that still continues today.
