Patricia A. Fisher

 

Patricia A. Fisher was born in Denver, Colorado, and is fond of camping and hiking in “her” beloved Rocky Mountains. She loves to write, when inspired to do so, and has written five books by ‘Journaling in Rhyme’ (a major tool for her since age 15).

Pat has suffered from Schizophrenia for 35 years, and never stops hoping and praying for peace of mind…

When she was young, she was either very quiet, or she was being the joker of the family. People always thought Pat was just fine!

Early childhood was almost normal: The family pool, frogs and salamanders, stolen candy, and smoking behind the garage.

Odd jobs earned coins for treats from the Popsicle man, who came around every afternoon.

The sun was bright, and life was good–only tainted by the volatile marriage of her parents.

The marriage was dissolved when Pat was only ten, and most of the family just “went away”!

After high school, she went to New York, did minor show-biz gigs, and eventually found herself hospitalized for the first time.

She returned home to more hospitalizations, a cherished, close relationship with her Mom, and marriage to a wonderful man.

Pat thanks God, everyday for her feelings of abundance, and for the wonderful gift of knowing that she makes at least a small ripple in life’s ocean…
