Bowker
Biography:
Patrick Kelley

Patrick Kelley is a writer, speaker, and student of psychology.
He lives in New Hampshire with his fiancé. He enjoys
writing music, reading, watching the Boston Red Sox play baseball
(this is the year), and spending time with friends and family.
Pat
was born in North Adams, Massachusetts and he and his parents
moved somewhat frequently between Massachusetts, New York
and Vermont before settling in Springfield, Vermont where
he spent his teenage years. It was also in Springfield where
at 23 years old he suffered a panic attack so severe that
it led to a condition known as agoraphobia. This condition
left him housebound for nearly three years.
I
of the Storm, Pat's first offering through Developing Communications
Publishing, chronicles the time he spent with the disorder
and the period immediately following his triumph over it.
It is his hope that by bringing his book, and others like
it, to the public he will help to raise awareness and erase
the stigma that surrounds mental health issues. He leads a
normal, productive and full life and he made a commitment
to himself to show other people with challenges that they
can do the same.
