Bowker
Biography:
Paul Tilden
Paul Tilden has been writing professionally for almost thirty
years including reports, web pages articles and other writing
all in the course of living in the computer or geek world.
Being tired of working supporting and testing software, he
embarked in a new direction to write fantasy. He has long
enjoyed reading fantasy especially authors such as C.S. Lewis,
Patrica Wrede and many others. So with a vivid imagination he
wrote Stones, Swords and Dragons, the first book in the
Alluthian Chronicles.
Paul Tilden and his wife of eighteen years, Jacqueline, live
in the Pleasant Valley area of northern Colorado. They have
six beautiful children, three boys and three girls. Their farm
also includes a New Foundland and three cats.
Stones, Swords and Dragons
Twins, Aran and Arsa embark on a routine trip which turns into
a dangerous adventure. Through prophecy and survivors of the
old regime, they learn that they are royalty of a destroyed
civilization. It becomes their task to find other Alluthians
and lead them to the ancient land of Alluthia. Along the way
they learn of their enemy, an evil sorceress who is bent on
their destruction. It was she who destroyed the old kingdom
and Alluthia because their ancestors grew complacent. Aran
and Arsa do not get the same luxury to grow complacent as they
must struggle to survive. The stones around their neck which
give them power will help, if they can learn to use them. The
fight is up to them with their allies the Elves to defend Alluthia
from the evil sorceress and try to rid the land of her scourge.
Paul hopes you enjoy Stones, Swords and Dragons and looks forward to the 2nd
book in the the Alluthian Chronicles, Possession which should
be released in time for Christmas 2006.
