Rod Hagenbuch

Rod Hagenbuch and Richard Capalbo are principals in Quantum Group LLC a Los Angeles consulting firm, specializing in the Financial Service Industry. Mr. Hagenbuch has lectured extensively in the securities industry. Both Mr. Hagenbuch and Mr. Capalbo have lectured throughout the Securities Industry and at the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton School of Business and many other University Business Schools. They have taught financial consultants how to use securities research for over twenty years. They are the co-authors of “Investment Survival” a book describing how to systematically build and manage winning portfolios. Rod is a senior portfolio manager for Affinity Investment Advisors, a professional asset management firm.

Mr. Hagenbuch worked for thirty-two years for Merrill Lynch as an Institutional Consultant and managing several branch offices. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Merrill Lynch California Trust Company and the NASD District Committee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Richard J. Capalbo served as District Marketing Manager for Merrill Lynch, Co-Managed their Flagship Southern California Office, served as President of Mitchum, Jones and Templeton. He was Chairman, President and CEO of Bateman, Eichler, Hill, Richards. He also served on the Kemper Financial Board of Directors. He was Senior Vice President and Marketing Director of Drexel Burnham Lambert. He is a trustee and is a PastChair of the Securities Industry Institute. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Fordham University and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
